William Shakespeare, the Great Stratford Bard and the High Renaissance Genius
is the greatest dramatist and poet in the English language.
He wrote comedies, tragedies and historical plays still played all over the world.
He was born in April 1564 in Stratford-Upon-Avon in the Middlands, in England
(the swan of England).William married at the age of 18 Anne Hathaway, who is eight years
older than him. He had 4 children: Susannah, Hamnet, Judith and Twins.
In 1592, he began acting and writing plays. In 1599, he built in London the “Globe Theatre”
Where most of William’s plays were performed .But, he stopped writing and went to live
In Stratford-Upon-Avon, in 1613.William Shakespeare died in 1616.
